Job summary

Freeman Jet Center is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee FAR Part 135 charter operations. The role includes accountability for certificate oversight, resource allocation, and management of flight operations in a high‑stress environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3000+ total flight hours with PIC experience and a solid background in Part 135 leadership, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation experience.

Qualifications

• Total flight time and PIC requirements as per CFR Part 119.71 and Part 135 experience.
• Experience with FAA Part 135 certificate oversight and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• Acts as accountable manager for allocating resources.
• Oversees FAA Part 135 certificate and aircraft on the certificate.
• Directs flight operations and supervises the Chief Pilot.
• Develops and implements safety policies and flight operation procedures.
