Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Cincinnati seeks an experienced leader to run a team of fixed income analysts and traders who source and vet fixed instruments for client accounts. You will oversee a series of fixed income strategies and participate in the firm’s asset allocation process.

As a member of the Investment Policy Committee, you will guide risk management, oversee compliance with regulations, and represent Huntington in internal and external presentations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience.
• CFA Charter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the fixed income strategy.
• Oversee fixed income research and guide investment portfolio managers.
• Manage the fixed income buy-list and hold-list.
• Support risk management framework and collaborate with the investment strategy team.
• Represent Huntington in internal/external presentations and support sales efforts for Wealth Management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor market trends/conditions.
• Develop actionable investment insights and communicate fixed income strategy to stakeholders.
• Support cross-sell initiatives and provide training on fixed income concepts.
• Review enhanced Leveraged Cash Flow due diligence when appropriate.
• Assist Payments Advisors/Relationship Managers in structuring transactions and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage the approval process for requested limits, amendments, waivers, and consents.
