Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Charlotte seeks a senior Fixed Income leader to manage a team of analysts and traders delivering internally vetted fixed income instruments for client accounts. You will oversee fixed income strategies, participate in asset allocation, and contribute as a member of the Investment Policy Committee.

Applicants should have at least 15 years of related experience and a Bachelor's Degree; CFA Charter Holder is preferred.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor market trends.
• Develop actionable investment insights and communicate fixed income strategy to stakeholders.
• Assist Advisors/Relationship Managers in structuring transactions and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage the approval process for limits, amendments, waivers, and consents.

Duties And Responsibilities

• CFA Charter Holder preferred.
• Lead the development and implementation of the fixed income strategy.
• Oversee fixed income research and guide investment portfolio managers.
• Manage the fixed income buy-list and hold-list.
• Support risk management framework and collaborate with the investment strategy team.
• Represent Huntington in internal/external presentations and support sales efforts for Wealth Management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor market trends/conditions.
• Develop actionable investment insights and communicate fixed income strategy to stakeholders.
• Support cross-sell initiatives and provide training on fixed income concepts.
• Review enhanced Leveraged Cash Flow due diligence when appropriate.
• Assist Payments Advisors/Relationship Managers in structuring transactions and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage the approval process for requested limits, amendments, waivers, and consents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
