Skyworks Solutions, Inc in San Jose seeks an Engineering Director for Firmware & Systems to lead the wireless engineering team feeding multiple BUs. You will drive system architecture, oversee firmware & software development, and collaborate with senior leadership on new product introductions.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in wireless software/firmware leadership, hands-on MAC/IEEE802.11 and networking experience, plus hardware bring-up and on‑chip debug.

Formación

• BS EE required, MS EE preferred.
• 20+ years leading software/firmware teams in wireless.
• Strong hands-on with MAC protocols (IEEE802.11, BT, Cellular) and networking.
• Experience with hardware bring-up and on-chip debugging.
• Experience leading development on RISC-V and DSP environments.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the system architecture and design for the wireless platform.
• Lead the software/firmware design and development across US and India locations.
• Work closely with senior leadership to plan new product introductions into market.
• Innovate new communications methods on top of unlicensed (ISM) bands.
• Drive system wide improvement from FEMs to Upper layer software.
