Job summary

The Kilgore College Fire Academy seeks an experienced educator to lead and develop TCFP‑certified firefighter training programs in Kilgore, TX. This 12‑month, full‑time role requires an associate’s degree with 12+ years of paid firefighting or fire marshal experience and EMT certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with at least 12 years of experience as a full-time firefighter or fire marshal.
• TCFP Level III Instructor certification.
• TDH EMT certification required.
• Strong computer proficiency and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and teach online courses.
• Work with fire professionals within and beyond the college service area.
• Possibly work nights and weekends as needed.
• Manage budget and program needs assessment.
