Qualifications

5+ years full-time sworn law enforcement experience in Texas.
Current, valid TCOLE Peace Officer license with Advanced or Master certificate.
Current, valid TCOLE Instructor certificate with instructional experience.
No history of disciplinary action against any TCOLE license or certificate.
Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to teach in satellite locations up to two hours from Kilgore.
Willing to teach nights and weekends.
Commitment to instructional obligations without frequent scheduling changes.

Responsibilities

Teach a wide range of law enforcement topics based on expertise and experience.
Submit training records, training reports and required documentation per TCOLE and Kilgore College.
Possibly teach Basic Peace Officer Course depending on experience and availability.
