Brex is seeking a seasoned Financial Reporting Director to own the GAAP reporting function and ensure compliance in a fast-growing fintech. You will align global accounting with Capital One standards, advise on complex transactions, and partner with product and engineering teams on new launches.

Based in New York with a hybrid work model, you will lead a world-class reporting team, drive policy development, and strengthen internal controls while delivering accurate, timely financial results.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• CPA license required.
• 10+ years of experience including Big 4 and leadership in high-growth companies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end global financial reporting function for GAAP.
• Lead strategy for regulated entity reporting and compliance.
• Advise on complex transactions and provide disclosure guidance.
• Develop and update GAAP accounting policies and controls.
• Build an internal control framework aligned with SOX and Capital One standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal on new launches.
