Job summary

Coda Search is partnering with a Series C start-up to hire a Director of Financial Reporting. This role will oversee financial reporting, technical accounting, and the review of consolidated financials.

The position reports to the CFO and collaborates with corporate accounting and FP&A teams. Responsibilities include managing the consolidated reporting package, intercompany review, board materials, complex reconciliations, and technical memos.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, focused on financial reporting and technical accounting.
• Consolidation experience across multiple entities required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Big 4 experience preferred; CPA is required.

Responsibilities

• Review intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
• Create and prepare quarterly board packages and materials with commentary.
• Review complex reconciliations and adjustments.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and train staff on new pronouncements.

• Operate as the point of contact with the annual auditors.

This is a dynamic company that is revolutionizing healthcare and is looking to hire a Director of Financial Reporting who will oversee financial reporting, technical accounting and reviewing the consolidated financials. Dynamic role that will be reporting into the CFO and partner closely with the corporate accounting and FP&A teams.
