Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting in Melbourne, FL. This on-site role leads the financial reporting function, oversees consolidated statements, and drives technical accounting policy in a high-end aviation environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
12–15 years of financial reporting experience or more.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting department leadership and development of staff.
Lead monthly consolidated financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
Prepare semi-annual reporting packages and annual standalone financial statements with footnotes.
Manage consolidation of legal entities and intercompany eliminations.
Own month-end and year-end close calendars and processes.
Prepare corporate journal entries including allocations and intercompany transactions.
Develop monthly financial dashboards and analytic reports for management.
Maintain SAP-based financial reporting structure and G/L hierarchies.
Coordinate external audits and respond to audit requests.
