Job summary

SpotOn seeks a Director of Financial Data & Analytics to own the enterprise data ecosystem, from pipelines to executive dashboards, ensuring accurate, scalable insights that drive strategic decisions and growth. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations and lead a high-performing analytics team.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product to align metrics and reporting, shaping critical business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial data and analytics or related field.
• Proven experience leading teams of analysts and managers.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools, especially Power BI.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and programming (Python or R).
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts applied to analytics and automation.
• Expertise in predictive modeling and identifying drivers of performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the core data infrastructure: data pipelines into Snowflake and Power BI with enterprise-scale reliability.
• Drive strategic analytics and insights to inform executive decisions and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead operational and financial metrics; collaborate with underwriting and finance on deal evaluation.
• Build scalable data models and automate processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage 6+ direct reports across Analysts and Managers; mentor and develop talent.
