Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and directs all functions and services of the Division.
• Directs a team of approximately 30 staff members, including senior auditors.
• Manages a comprehensive program of financial management to ensure funding and reimbursement of NIH contracts and grants.
• Serves as NIH expert on accounting, financial, and auditing aspects of contracts and grants, including contractor/grantee financial systems.
• Participates as a member of the OAMP Associate Director's senior management team, guiding program planning and resource management.
• Liaises with the DHHS Audit Resolution Division (ARD) and acts as the responsible agency official.
• Provides expert leadership to staff conducting cost/price analyses and supports evaluation, negotiation, performance, and close-out of contracts and grants.
