Job summary

Conair LLC is seeking a Director of Finance to partner with the HBA business, lead FP&A, and drive performance management. Based in Stamford, CT, the role blends on-site leadership with Friday remote flexibility within Conair’s hybrid model.

The successful candidate will own budgeting/forecasting, provide data-driven insights, and partner with global finance to improve processes while guiding a small team. A strong record in corporate finance and cross-functional influence is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• MBA in Finance preferred.
• 10+ years of corporate finance experience.
• Superb analytical/quantitative skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge the status quo.
• Team leadership experience and ability to develop others.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate assessment of monthly results and provide robust data & analytics to drive performance management.
• Own the budgeting and forecasting processes for the HBA business unit.
• Lead insightful, fact-based decision-making through analysis and knowledge of customers.
• Provide an unbiased view of risks and opportunities and evaluate trade-offs.
• Manage and develop direct reports.
• Review performance versus plans and explain variances to drive corrective actions.
• Develop robust business cases to accelerate profitable growth; evaluate alternatives and key assumptions.
• Ensure investments are optimized and managed.
• Oversee monthly accruals with North America control team.
• Implement continuous improvement in finance processes with global teams.
