Location: US - Remote. Must be based in the US to be considered.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Finance Operations to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will manage accounting systems and operations across the company, including Canada and India Finance teams. Responsibilities include overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring efficient financial systems integration, collaborating on financial reporting improvements, and maintaining accurate and timely financial data.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Lead and scale the US, Canada, and India finance operations teams, setting goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
2. Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional leaders, supporting initiatives and addressing recurring issues.
3. Oversee day-to-day AP invoice and Payroll processes, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
4. Manage financial systems and ERP integration, aligning with business processes and automation goals.
5. Collaborate with the Business Transformation team to implement system enhancements and controls aligned with SOX-readiness.
6. Drive continuous process improvement through technology automation of financial processes and reporting.
7. Support evaluation and deployment of new platforms to optimize costs and operations.
8. Enhance the structure and cadence of financial tasks and reporting via process reengineering and team resourcing.
9. Maintain and improve internal controls for audit readiness and risk prevention.
10. Monitor KPIs for AP, AR, and overall finance operations to inform business decisions and accountability.
11. Identify pain points and propose high-impact, cost-effective solutions for process efficiency and scalability.
12. Support internal and external audits and compliance efforts across regions.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Deep expertise in ERP systems and financial automation tools.
2. Strong understanding of financial controls and operational risk mitigation.
3. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with adaptability in a dynamic environment.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-departmental and cross-geographical collaboration.
5. Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives and manage change.
6. Data-driven mindset with experience using KPIs for decision-making and performance enhancement.

Education And Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in finance operations, including AP/AR, payroll, systems, and compliance.
3. Experience in a SOX-compliant environment is highly preferred.
4. Proven success managing and mentoring cross-border finance teams.
5. Experience in high-growth or tech-enabled environments is advantageous.

Compensation Range: $160K - $180K
