We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance & Administration to join our leadership team in Houston, TX. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic yet hands-on finance professional who wants to build, improve, and lead, while partnering closely with company leadership to help take a growing organization to the next level.

What You’ll Do

As our Director of Finance & Administration, you will play a key role in the company’s financial and operational success.

• Own the financial planning process — Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning.
• Turn numbers into strategy — Build financial models and provide meaningful analysis that supports growth initiatives and major business decisions.
• Drive profitability — Monitor financial performance, identify trends and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve margins and operational efficiency.
• Partner with leadership — Work closely with department leaders to establish financial accountability, track performance, and support data-driven decisions.
• Manage key relationships — Oversee banking relationships, insurance programs, vendors, and other strategic business partners.
• Strengthen financial operations — Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy — Collaborate with external accounting and tax professionals to maintain accurate financial records and meet reporting requirements.
• Help build for the future — Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, reporting, and financial infrastructure as the company continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
• Strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial modeling, and financial analysis
• A track record of using financial data to improve business performance and profitability
• Experience in landscaping, construction, field services, or another operations-driven industry — preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to move comfortably between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
• Curious, entrepreneurial mindset — you ask why and you build
• Proven blueprint for scaling a company toward $40M–$100M
• Cross-functional by default — works closely with ops, sales, HR, and the field
• Spanish-speaking preferred
