Job Summary: | The Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) for the Department of Physiology and Biophysics coordinates policies and procedures and oversees the implementation of research and administrative programs within the Department of Physiology and Biophysics. The Director of Finance and Administration oversees and has authority over all administrative functions, including finance, grants and contracts, human resources, procurement, information technology and services, official functions,asset and space planning, and day-to-day operations. The Director of Finance and Administration represents the department within the School of Medicine and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Professional Field Knowledge and understanding of the theories and concepts associated with human resources, accounting, finance, business/public/research administration, or closely related fields. Supervision Received This position reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics with a dotted line report to the Senior Associate Dean for Administration and Finance through the School of Medicine Office of the Dean. Supervision Exercised Provides supervision for administrative staff in the department. Examples of Work Performed:

Work Location: | Hybrid - This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings in Aurora, CO. |

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $90,000-$128,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
