Job summary

CFS is seeking a Director of Finance in the Greater New Haven area to lead day-to-day accounting, drive budgeting and forecasting, and partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. This hands-on, leadership role will oversee financial reporting, audits, and internal controls within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting background with experience overseeing financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger operations.
• Experience managing and developing accounting or finance teams.
• Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred, but candidates from other complex accounting environments will be considered.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting.
