Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Ashburn, VA is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial strategy for a large continuing care retirement community onsite. This role offers high visibility and collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance improvement while partnering with operations and ensuring strong controls in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in a related industry with at least 5+ years in a management role.
• CPA is a plus.
• Critical thinking ability required.
• Ability to evaluate and solve complex problems and issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and oversight for the community.
• Establish and maintain strong accounting controls and efficient processes.
• Lead analysis and interpretation of financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with operations to support business decisions and financial performance.
• Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Identify and help mitigate business and enterprise risks.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that support effective financial operations.
• Coach, develop, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Finance to join Ashby Ponds, a continuing care retirement community in Ashburn, VA, home to more than 2,000 residents. How you will make an impact

Compensation

Compensation: $135,000 -$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus. This position is onsite full time and does not offer a hybrid schedule. It is located on a beautiful campus where you will have access to many of the dining venues and other amenities.
