Penn State Greater Allegheny invites applications for a faculty position in Social Work at multiple ranks. This is a full-time 36-week, non-tenure-line, limited-term (1-year) appointment starting January 2027.

Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses on campus or online, publishing, advising students, and participating in accreditation and program development. A strong emphasis on teaching quality and service is expected.

Qualifications

• Earned Masters in Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution with at least two years post-MSW practice.
• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• CSWE teaching and previous field education experience required.
• Evidence of potential in research and publication.
• Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment; hybrid/online teaching an advantage.
• Prior college-level and online teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration is important.
• CSWE accreditation experience is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate courses each fall and spring at the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus.
• Teaching day/evening/saturday or online classes as needed.
• Publish in refereed journals and participate in CSWE accreditation processes.
• Advise students and provide career guidance.
• Develop new social work courses and participate in community partnerships.
