Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director/Director of Software Delivery to lead federal IT programs and oversee multiple software projects from inception to production. The role requires strong governance, Agile expertise, and the ability to manage 50+ staff across locations.

Successful candidates will have deep federal contracting experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a track record of delivering enterprise systems with robust reporting to executives and government clients.

Qualifications

• The candidate must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.
• Extensive experience in federal contracting and large-scale enterprise software delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development and EVM reporting.
• Proven capability to lead 50+ staff across multiple locations and scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership to software development and government teams.
• Oversee multiple software projects from requirements to production release.
• Coordinate with operations, customer care, and government teams for launches.
• Prioritize work with government customers and establish release plans.
• Ensure production sustainment of software products.
• Report status to executive management and government customers.
• Use metrics to drive process improvements in a CMMI Level 3 organization.
• Develop and manage staff performance through subordinate managers.
