Job summary

Larkin University seeks a dynamic Director of Faculty Development and Calibration to lead initiatives that elevate instructional quality across the predoctoral program. You will drive faculty growth, promote consistent clinical supervision, and ensure reliable student assessment.

Collaborating with course directors and academic leadership, you will champion evidence-based teaching, implement calibration strategies, and align practices with accreditation standards and institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or professional degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in higher education or dental/medical education.
• Eligibility for Florida licensure if clinical supervision is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of faculty development initiatives and calibration processes.
• Coordinate workshops and training programs for faculty
• Collaborate with course directors and leadership to support evidence-based teaching.
• Develop standardized grading rubrics and evaluation methods; ensure accreditation readiness.
• Provide coaching on course design, learning technology integration, and online teaching strategies.
• Ensure content complies with SCORM standards and supports program quality.
