Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD, is seeking a Director of Plant Operations and Capital Planning to lead maintenance, safety, and facility operations across the campus.

You will oversee capital planning, preventive maintenance, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained community environment. Strong leadership and technical knowledge are essential to manage a diverse team and complex operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility operations or risk management, with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive Plant Maintenance program to reduce risk and costs.
• Supervise maintenance, transportation and safety teams; manage schedules and on-call rotation.
• Develop and oversee a computer-based work order system with clear prioritization.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Life Safety Code, CMS, and other standards.
• Oversee grounds, parking, and exterior operations; manage budgets for capital repairs.
• Coordinate emergency response and 24/7 on-call coverage; prepare reports.
