Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Director of Facility Standards & 6S Excellence to lead the division's workplace transformation, standardization, and 6S implementation across manufacturing sites. You will partner with General Managers, Plant Managers, EHS, Finance, and Procurement to drive safety, efficiency, and a visual factory environment.

The role requires developing a multi-year road map, standardizing vendor solutions, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing, facilities, construction, project management, maintenance, or operational excellence experience.
• Experience managing multi-site initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• Lean Manufacturing/6S exposure preferred, PMP certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for PCC Fasteners facilities to achieve 6S and Safety Standards.
• Lead facility improvement projects from concept through completion within budgets and timelines.
• Establish division-wide standards for workplace organization, visual management, and appearance.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities among plant leadership, maintenance, facilities, procurement, and vendors.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement across facilities.
• Monitor progress with executive updates and measurement of 6S and safety outcomes.
