Job summary

Qualifications

Three years of maintenance facility experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with oral and written instructions in English.
In depth understanding of physical plant maintenance requirements.
Knowledge of state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

Direct or perform duties concerned with plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical, heating, cooling, water systems and minor electrical.
Monitor and supervise all service contracts or other outside contract work.
Direct or perform duties related to maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, security, etc.
Direct or perform duties related to transportation, including maintenance of vehicles and other campus equipment.
Ensure that high standards of safety are developed, met, and maintained at the facility.
Develop, implement, and regularly review site-specific maintenance logs.
Establish procedures and contacts to ensure timely repairs of equipment requiring minor repairs on a frequent basis.
