Job summary

Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles (SCLAC) seeks a senior Facilities Services and Capital Projects Director to oversee 36 court locations’ facilities portfolio, including major capital construction and ongoing maintenance. You will lead managers, coordinate with the Judicial Council and County, and drive the long-range facilities plan.

This at-will managerial role requires extensive experience in construction PM, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex LA

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management and capital projects development.
• Internal candidates: two years at Deputy Director or Administrator II level at SCLAC.
• Education: accredited four-year college degree in a related field; related experience may substitute.
• Frequent travel within Los Angeles County to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Court's facilities portfolio, including capital construction and maintenance across 36 locations.
• Coordinate with JCC and County on real estate and capital matters and lead a team of managers.
• Advance long-range facilities plans, site acquisition, and early planning for major projects.
• Ensure responsiveness to public access needs and judges' operational requirements.
