Situation is seeking a Director of Agency Communications to own how the agency presents itself to the outside world and to drive visibility, reputation and engagement across media, partners and audiences. The role reports to the President and requires shaping narratives, finding stories, and turning ongoing work into high-impact opportunities.

The ideal candidate is a driver and connector who will push the agenda, collaborate with leadership, and create platforms for the agency to shine in live

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in communications, PR, brand or agency work.
• Ability to create opportunities and drive narrative without briefs.
• Strong media relationships and demonstrated success earning press and visibility.

Responsabilités

• Own and sharpen how Situation talks about itself — its identity, beliefs and direction.
• Develop and drive the agency's overall communications and content strategy across press, social, thought leadership, events and external channels.
• Identify stories, people, client work and insights that deserve a larger audience.
• Build relationships with press, journalists and industry voices; proactively pitch Situation and its leaders.
• Create opportunities for leaders to participate in panels, conferences and podcasts and pursue speaking engagements.
• Drive visibility strategies for senior leadership and ensure consistent, proactive communications.
