Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Must be flexible to fill in shifts as needed
Compensation:
$20–$23 per hour, based on experience
Negotiable for candidates with extensive experience
Rose City Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Environmental Services to lead all environmental services operations within our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors while ensuring adherence to regulatory, infection control, and safety standards.
Plan, organize, and oversee all functions of the Environmental Services Department
Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition at all times
Verify that required equipment and supplies are available, properly maintained, and operational
Conduct daily rounds to evaluate staff performance and compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
Enforce departmental policies, fire and disaster procedures, safety rules, and Universal Precautions
Lead, train, schedule, and support Environmental Services staff to meet operational goals and regulatory requirements
Be flexible to provide hands‑on support or fill shifts when operational needs require
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in environmental services, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role
Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred
Prior experience in a medical, skilled nursing, or long‑term care setting strongly preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
