• Ensure the facility consistently meets high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Develop and maintain effective housekeeping policies, procedures, and practices.
• Monitor department performance and address concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Environmental Services team members.
• Ensure new and existing employees receive appropriate training and ongoing support.
• Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate department coverage.
• Promote a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, respect, accountability, and excellent service.
• Maintain professional and compassionate communication with residents, families, staff, and leadership.
• Respond to resident and family concerns regarding housekeeping services and work toward timely resolution.
• Collaborate with nursing, maintenance, dietary, and other departments to support the overall needs of the facility.
• Help ensure compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and infection prevention practices.
• Conduct routine inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cleanliness, and the overall resident experience.
