Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Director of Environmental Compliance, North America to lead environmental programs across growing data center campuses. You will ensure audit-ready compliance for active construction and live facilities, and partner with Operations, Legal, and the EHS team.

The role oversees air, water, and waste programs, audits, regulatory reporting, and incident response. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in high-risk environments are required, with strong leadership and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or Engineering field.
• 10+ years of environmental compliance experience in industrial, energy, manufacturing, mission-critical, utility, or similar high-risk industries.
• Experience managing air permits, SPCC programs, stormwater compliance, waste management, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and state environmental requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading environmental audits, inspections, and compliance programs across multiple sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance programs across North America.
• Identify, assess, and manage environmental risks across construction and operational campuses.
• Oversee compliance programs related to air permits, SPCC, stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous waste.
• Develop and execute a risk-based environmental audit program with tracking of corrective actions.
• Lead response efforts for significant environmental incidents, spills, releases, and permit deviations.
