Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Director of Environmental Compliance, North America to lead enterprise environmental programs across a growing data center portfolio. The role oversees air, water, waste compliance, audits, and regulatory engagement while coordinating with Operations, Construction, Legal and the EHS team to integrate environmental requirements into growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science/Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management or Engineering.
10+ years of environmental compliance experience in high‑risk industries.
Experience managing air permits, SPCC programs, stormwater, waste management, and regulatory reporting.
Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and state environmental requirements.
Experience leading environmental audits across multiple sites.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance programs across North America.
Oversee risk management across construction and operating campuses.
Oversee air permits, stormwater, wastewater, and hazardous waste compliance.
Develop and execute a risk‑based environmental audit program and track corrective actions.
Lead incident response for significant environmental incidents, spills, and permit deviations.
