NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a strategic Director of Finance Insurance to lead an enterprise-wide risk management program protecting patients, people, and assets. The role oversees the Property & Casualty portfolio, manages self-insured and captive programs, and partners with Legal and Medical School affiliates to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPCU, ARM, RPLU or other insurance designations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the enterprise-wide corporate risk management program design and execution.
• Oversee Property & Casualty insurance portfolio, including self-insured and captive programs.
• Evaluate risks and develop strategies to protect assets and minimize loss.
• Direct insurance purchasing, claims management, and administration of all lines.
• Provide strategic oversight of captive program(s).
• Lead financial recovery initiatives related to P&C losses and FEMA programs.
• Drive due diligence for acquisitions and post-integration risk management.
• Partner with Medical School affiliates and external partners on shared risk.
• Collaborate with Legal Affairs on insurance, indemnification, and contracts.
• Represent Finance on system-wide committees and lead KPI-driven performance.
