Job summary

AssetMark seeks a Director of Identity & Access Management to establish a centralized, enterprise IAM function. You will own the IAM strategy, operating model, architecture, governance, and service roadmap while guiding engineering leadership across AD, Entra ID, Azure, M365, and data services.

You will lead a small IAM team and partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, HR, Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit, and application teams to transform IAM into a scalable enterprise capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (CS/IS/Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership in enterprise IAM programs, architecture, and governance.
• Hands-on engineering and strategic delivery of IAM capabilities at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead AssetMark's centralized enterprise IAM function, including strategy, operating model, and service roadmap.
• Define target state identity architecture, multi-year roadmap, and modern identity patterns (Zero Trust, SSO, MFA, RBAC/ABAC).
• Oversee lifecycle processes (joiner/mover/leaver, provisioning, deprovisioning, certifications) and governance.
• Lead Azure AD/Entra ID, M365, and on-prem identity integrations while ensuring security and compliance.
