Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Director, Benefits to lead strategy, design, governance, administration, and continuous improvement of benefit programs across the Family of Companies. This executive role oversees health and welfare, retirement, leave, wellness, compliance, and benefits technology while ensuring sustainable, compliant program delivery.

You will serve as senior benefits advisor to executive leadership, partnering with Compensation, Finance, Legal, HR

Qualifications

Experience leading enterprise benefits strategy, governance, and administration across multiple programs.
Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management experience.
Ability to engage executives and cross-functional partners with polished communication.

Responsibilities

Set enterprise benefits philosophy and multi-year roadmap across health, retirement, wellness, and related programs.
Lead annual strategic planning, plan design evaluation, and vendor delivery options.
Develop executive-ready recommendations and business cases for benefit decisions.
Lead Benefits team with goals, service expectations, and professional development.
Ensure accurate benefits administration, annual enrollment, and compliance.
Direct budgeting, forecasting, renewal analysis, and long-term financial planning.
Review data to evaluate program effectiveness and vendor performance.
Oversee RFPs, vendor evaluations, and contract reviews.
