Job summary

The Walker School in Marietta, Georgia, is seeking a strategic, people-centered Director of Enrollment Management to shape who joins our community. Start date: July 1, 2027.

This role unites recruitment, financial aid, onboarding, and retention into one coordinated strategy, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and collaborating with the Head of School and Board to set enrollment and net tuition goals.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of independent school admission leadership.
• Full-cycle enrollment experience with data-driven approaches.
• Experience presenting to boards and managing CRM systems such as Ravenna.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-year enrollment plan built on data and market insights.
• Oversee Pre-K3–12 admission experiences and onboarding.
• Manage financial aid balancing access with fiscal health.
• Drive retention strategies via attrition analysis.
• Build a high-performing admissions team through coaching.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional admission role. Our Director of Enrollment Management connects recruitment, selection, financial aid, onboarding, and retention into one coordinated strategy. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will work alongside the Head of School and Board of Trustees to set enrollment and net tuition goals, read the market, and build a pipeline that strengthens Walker’s long-term sustainability.

What You Will Lead

• A multi-year enrollment plan built on data, market insight, and national benchmarks
• A Pre-K3 through Grade 12 admission experience that feels personal and welcoming at every entry point, including our New Avenues Program
• A financial aid program that balances access, affordability, and fiscal health
• Retention strategies informed by attrition data and stay and exit interviews
• A talented admission team that thrives on care, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Who You Are

You bring five or more years of independent school admission or enrollment leadership, a full-cycle track record, and comfort with funnel data and admission CRMs such as Ravenna. You are equally at home presenting to the Board and walking a nervous kindergarten family across campus.
