Job summary

Merck in the United States, Pennsylvania – West Point, seeks an Associate Director of Engineering to manage large capital projects within manufacturing, laboratory and infrastructure lines of business.

You will lead integrated project teams, develop execution plans, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee procurement, commissioning, qualification and close-out with a focus on delivering world-class pharmaceutical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience executing capital/expense projects.
• Ability to lead an integrated project team to deliver assets on time and within budget.
• Proficient oral and written communication for status/funding presentations.
• Strong decision-making; change management and team alignment skills.
• Collaborative in a cross-functional environment with business sensitivity.
