Job summary

nTop is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the engineering organization behind our product platform, including modeling and rendering, simulation, and distributed computing. You will report to the CTO and own how the platform roadmap gets executed.

This newly created role sits at an inflection point as we move to AI-assisted software development and partner with AI and hardware leaders. You will drive the transformation across platform teams while keeping current products shipping.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading engineering organizations and engineering managers.
• Delivered a new product from zero to one while keeping existing products healthy.
• Hands-on experience leading the adoption of AI-assisted development in an engineering organization.
• Sufficient technical depth to credibly engage with experts in geometry, GPU computing, physics simulation, or distributed systems.
• Exceptional prioritization and decision-making under ambitious timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of the product platform roadmap.
• Lead and grow the engineering management team.
• Drive the shift to AI-assisted development.
• Make the engineering process faster end to end.
• Deliver zero-to-one and one-to-n at once.
• Partner with Product to ensure feasibility and sequencing.
• Represent platform engineering to the CTO and R&D leadership.
