Job summary

Veeam is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Director of Engineering - PrivacyOps to lead the development of our core privacy-related product suite. The role focuses on architecture, scalability, and cross-team collaboration across cookie consent, assessments, DSR fulfillment, breach management, and privacy notices.

• Proven experience with Go and/or Python for high‑concurrency backend systems.
• Strong background in microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and message brokers.
• Experience leading SDKs or integration platforms for data normalization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and architecture reviews for PrivacyOps components.
• Build AI‑driven development practices and an integration/connector framework.
• Represent engineering in customer interactions and support engagement functions.
• Drive roadmap and architecture for DSR automation, consent lifecycle management, and breach/notice modules.
• Mentor senior engineers and scale the PrivacyOps product suite.
