Job summary

Order.co is seeking a Director, Engineering Operations to build and run the operating system that translates strategy into measurable business impact. You will enable Product, Engineering, Data, and other functions to align on outcomes, priorities, capacity, and delivery health, then communicate concisely to executives and drive disciplined action.

You will partner with Product, Security, Finance, and GTM teams to ensure alignment, establishing operating reviews and KPI-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Engineering Operations or comparable SaaS/tech leadership roles.
• Exceptional executive communication skills connecting Product and Engineering to business impact.
• Experience defining outcomes, OKRs, KPIs, scorecards, and operating cadences across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to build trustworthy reporting from product, engineering, financial, and customer data.

Responsibilities

• Create executive-ready narratives linking investments, delivery, and outcomes to customer impact.
• Own recurring executive updates, board inputs, and commitments with a reliable truth source.
• Define outcomes and KPIs with clear ownership, baselines, targets, and data sources.
• Design and operate annual, quarterly, and ongoing portfolio-planning cadences across Product and Engineering.
• Define and improve the software delivery lifecycle from discovery to feedback and learning.
• Plan capacity with headcount, skills, budget, and external partners.
• Track cross-functional risks and decisions with clear ownership and resolution.
