Job summary

Congruex seeks a Director of Engineering to guide operational strategy across Memphis and remote sites. The role includes P&L responsibility, cross-functional leadership, and ensuring delivery of client projects with quality and efficiency.

You will mentor managers, coordinate with business development, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with company goals and budget expectations. Strong engineering background and strategic vision are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum 10 years of construction and/or engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Ability to manage teams in multiple states.
• Experience with end-to-end project management of large fiber deployment projects.
• Experience managing Outside Plant and Inside Plant projects.
• Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company and your team with customers to deliver their needs.
• Determine capacity and forecast workload for the team.
• Provide production expectations based on performance and needs.
• Identify ways to reduce cycle times and increase quality.
• Develop workload and financial forecasts for shared services.
• Analyze and report data for business intelligence.
• Develop new shared services opportunities with B2B clients.
• Build and mentor a high-functioning team of managers and staff.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to the team.
