Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Director of Engineering to lead development of motors, blowers, pumps and gearmotors for the Bison line. Based at Kent, OH or Whitsett, NC or Aurora, IL, the role combines technical leadership with hands-on program management across global sites.

You will oversee new product development, stage-gate processes, and VAVE efforts, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and alignment with business goals while managing budgets and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Minimum 3 years working for a manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development and engineering for the Bison portfolio of motors, blowers, pumps, and gearmotors.
• Manage scope, risk, schedule, and budget; project management is key.
• Provide technical support for our manufacturing sites to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
