Meta is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead Marketing Messages Optimization. You will oversee a multi-team engineering organization, define long-term technical strategy, and collaborate with Ads, WhatsApp, data science, product, and privacy teams.
The role focuses on monetization within a messaging surface, balancing user experience and revenue impact. You will drive large-scale ML-driven decisions, design auction and pricing mechanisms, and ensure reliable delivery during peak traffic.
Formación
- 10+ years of technical software engineering experience.
- 7+ years of engineering management experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale impact leveraging ML and cross-functional partners.
- Experience with auction mechanisms, reserve pricing, bidding, pacing, or quality/integrity modeling in ads systems.
- Experience operating revenue-critical systems through peak traffic and spend periods.
Responsabilidades
- Lead a multi-team organization of engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Set multi-year technical strategy and roadmap across teams.
- Partner with Ads, WhatsApp, Data Science, Privacy, and Product organizations.
- Drive measurable revenue impact through ML and infrastructure investments.
