Director of Engineering & Maintenance

We are seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance with experience in automation and heavy industry. The ideal candidate is strategic, a problem solver, a troubleshooter, and understands the importance of being present on the shop or production floor in the greater Youngstown area.

Key Requirements Include:

• 10+ years of experience in a progressive leadership role
• 5+ years of experience in the heavy industry manufacturing sector
• Ability to create and implement strategic plans
• Experience and knowledge of integrating automation into manufacturing plants
• Safety-first mindset
• Servant leadership style
• Mentoring, coaching, and training skills
• Willingness to spend time on the shop floor, especially during equipment downtime
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, conflict resolution, motivational, and team-building skills

• Experience in developing budgets and possessing good business acumen

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering is highly preferred.
