iENG Design, an IMI company, seeks a Director of Engineering for the Atlanta, GA office. The role leads the engineering function, aligns with client expectations, and drives technical excellence across mechanical and civil disciplines.

The candidate should have 10+ years in engineering with 3–5 years in leadership and strong P&L experience. The position offers comprehensive benefits including health, vision, 401k, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (B.S. required).
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in one or more states strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage all engineering personnel for the office location, including Engineering Team Leads and engineers at every level
• Oversee hiring, performance reviews, and professional development initiatives
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and career guidance Lead training programs and technical development opportunities
• Address performance issues and implement improvement plans
• Developing, maintaining, and improving QC standards, checklists, workflows, and SOPs; ensure review schedules align with project timelines
• Manage office-level P&L or department budget
