Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering for the Platform IAM team in the United States.

You will lead a large, globally distributed group of managers, software engineers, and architects to shape strategy and execution of IAM platforms, ensuring low latency and high reliability. You will mentor teams, drive the technical roadmap, oversee the SDLC, and partner with stakeholders to translate business vision into concrete milestones.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience with leadership of large distributed software teams.
• Deep understanding of IAM ecosystem and platform architectures.
• Strong communication with global, remote stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering innovative software products at scale.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a large, multidisciplinary global team of managers, engineers, and architects.
• Drive the technical roadmap for the IAM platform ensuring scalability and low latency AuthZ.
• Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycle and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business vision into milestones.
