Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Head of Engineering & Facilities in the Rouses Point area of New York. This direct-hire role requires an experienced engineering leader who can drive plant performance, equipment reliability, automation, and facilities operations across production lines.

You will lead engineering, maintenance, automation, and facilities teams, manage capital projects and budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated consumer products environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of leadership in engineering, maintenance, automation, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing maintenance programs and facility operations.
• Experience with CMMS (Limble or similar).
• Strong knowledge of automation, robotics, PLCs, and equipment.
• Lean manufacturing and CI experience preferred.
• Experience in regulated environments (consumer products, food & beverage, pharma, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, maintenance, automation, and facilities functions.
• Oversee manufacturing equipment, robotics, PLC systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements.
• Lead capital projects from planning through implementation.
• Support new product introductions, equipment trials, and production scale-up.
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and fire protection.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and lead engineering and maintenance teams while managing departmental budgets.
