Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Engineering & Controls to own the integration business's P&L and lead its engineering, controls, and panel-shop operations. This is a business leadership role with a focus on commercial growth and strategic direction.

You will manage a $20M+ P&L, shape technical strategy, and build high-performing teams across engineering and controls disciplines in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• P&L ownership and driving commercial growth in industrial automation.
• Hands-on PLC and SCADA-based process automation.
• Experience in oil & gas, midstream, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing.
• Ability to build and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• BS in Electrical or Controls Engineering; PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a P&L of $20M+ and develop a growth plan.
• Shape strategy and pricing with business development and sales.
• Lead engineering and controls teams with clear structure and standards.
• Serve as the technical authority on control system architecture (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, cybersecurity).
• Partner with project management and operations to deliver work safely, on time and on budget.
