Job summary

Xplor is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering for our Laundry SaaS business unit. You will lead cross-functional teams delivering product roadmaps, enhancing platform reliability, and driving AI-enabled software development.

The role focuses on North American markets, with hybrid work in Utah and a strong emphasis on customer-centric release excellence. You will own the engineering plan and budget, collaborate with Product and Security, and mentor managers to scale SaaS delivery while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams at a B2B SaaS technology company (including managers).
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS products in laundry, field services or adjacent SMB verticals.
• Proven record of shipping SaaS releases predictably at a sustained cadence.
• Proven record of improving platform uptime, performance and defect rates in production SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the product roadmap on schedule by improving development processes and building scalable ones.
• Raise platform reliability and performance, reduce incidents and shorten MTTR.
• Own release management, QA and support for Laundry SaaS solutions, reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities and technical trade-offs for commercial targets.
• Define and execute AI engineering strategy to improve customer experience and productivity.
• Build relationships across Product, Support and Customer Success to align targets with business objectives.
• Coach engineering managers and senior engineers, promoting a culture of proactive delivery and innovation.
• Lead the AI-first engineering culture and adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
