Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Leader for the Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown to maintain a safe, fully functional property with lean staffing and budget discipline. You will oversee repairs, manage preventative work, and support guest experiences with professionalism.

This role emphasizes rapid response, collaboration with Front Office and Housekeeping, and partnership with vetted vendors to ensure safety, quality and cost effectiveness across a 140-hotel

Qualifications

  • Perform and oversee daily maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and public areas.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water heaters and lighting.
  • Execute a structured preventative maintenance program.
  • Prioritize repairs that directly impact guest satisfaction and QA scores.
  • Ensure compliance with fire and life safety systems.
  • Manage call coverage for evenings, weekends and emergencies.
  • Reduce downtime and service calls through proactive maintenance.
  • Respond quickly to guest maintenance issues with professionalism and a service-first mindset.
  • Work closely with other departments, including front office and housekeeping, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Coordinate specialized vendors as needed and monitor contractor work to ensure safety, quality and cost expectations.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

This hands-on leader is responsible for maintaining a safe, fully functional and well-presented property while operating within a lean staffing and budget model. This role balances technical expertise, preventative maintenance and responsive guest service to minimize downtime, control costs and protect the asset—all while ensuring brand standards and life-safety requirements are consistently met.

What are we looking for?

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00
