Job summary

Success Matcher Recruitment is representing a fast-growing industrial technology company hiring for a chief engineering leadership role in Los Angeles. You will own the technical strategy across customer-facing software, internal ops, data, infrastructure, and applied machine learning, and you will build and lead the engineering team from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year leading a team of 3–5 engineers.
• Experience building and scaling systems from the ground up.
• Strong product-focused, backend-leaning full-stack skills, ideally with TypeScript and Python.
• A CS or STEM degree from a top-25 school.
• Daily experience using AI development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
• Ability to work on-site in LA's South Bay five days a week and travel up to 20%.
