Job summary

Rnb Consultancy in Los Angeles is hiring 3 founding engineers to build the operating system of a factory—a full ERP plus MES, CAD automation, and a digital twin. You’ll own data models, screens on the floor, and real-time telemetry with autonomy alongside hardware engineers.

Must have built a relational system from scratch and shipped production software (TS frontend, Python/Go backend). In-person on site in LA, sponsorship limited, take-home exercise before in-person with the team.

• 2+ years shipping production software at scale with TS frontend and Python/Go backend.
• In-person in Los Angeles and eager to work on the factory floor.

Have you built a complex relational system from scratch? Build the operating system of a factory, from raw material to finished part.

A seed‑stage advanced‑materials company in Los Angeles industrializes high-performance materials with AI, robotics and its own manufacturing. As a founding software engineer, you’d build its operating system from scratch: an ERP plus MES, CAD automation and simulation, and real-time factory telemetry in a digital twin. You’d work with full autonomy next to strong hardware engineers, with no PM, QA or design layer in between.

What you’ll own

• The ERP and MES, from data model to the screens people use on the floor

Must‑haves

• You’ve built a complex relational system from scratch (ERP, MES, logistics or similar), not configured or extended an existing tool
• 2+ years shipping production software at scale (roughly 2–8): TypeScript on the front end, Python or Go on the back end
• A standout achievement you can point to
• In person in Los Angeles, and you want to be on the factory floor

• An ambitious personal project you kept grinding on
