Job summary

Cooperative Energy Incorporated (CEI) seeks an Associate/Director of Operations to lead 24/7 generation scheduling and operational analysis. The role oversees scheduling desk leadership, dispatch decision support, and compliance with market rules and FOC requirements.

The successful candidate will guide the scheduling desk, analyze dispatch performance, and collaborate with CEI staff, GSOC, vendors, and market participants to improve reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy services, IT, business or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum 10 years in wholesale power ops, utility ops, scheduling or energy analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 power scheduling desk and staff.
• Provide operational guidance and coaching to scheduling team.
• Develop schedules and support sprint planning for tools and processes.
• Ensure compliance with FOC, GSOC, FERC and market rules.
